Make a Difference Day

Many thanks to the 114 volunteers who completed 65 projects on Make a Difference Day on Saturday, November 15.  Volunteers painted the engineering and choir rooms, cafeteria, restrooms, outside tables, benches, the PE bleachers, and stair wells.  They repaired ceiling fans, distributed mulch, planted and weeded, touched up murals, weeded the garden, framed and hung pictures, scrapbooked the campus, power washed the office entrance area, replaced louvers, repaired screens, fixed up the display case in the cafeteria, and more. Students, faculty, parents, and community partners were represented including AVID, Student Leadership, KIS PTSA, Boys & Girls Club, KIS alumni, KIS office staff, and our military partners from Headquarters Battalion, MWSD24, PACOM JIOC, New Hope East Shore, and VPU-2.
