Hooray for Noah Selph, 1st place (left side), Lola ten Berge, 2nd place (middle), and Gianna Dewey, 3rd place (right side), for their winning 7th grade statewide essays! The Fleet Reserve Association (FRA) Branch 46's Americanism and Patriotism Essay Contest. Theme:  "What Patriotism Means To Me".

 

Rod Award
Mr. Rod Maghsoudlou is recognized by Representative Cynthia Thielen and Senator Laura Thielen along with the 29th Legislature of the State of Hawaii for the scholarship fund he created that this year awarded $1000 each to five former KIS students pursuing college degrees.

From time to time we like to publish photos and videos of our students participating in school activities.  We publish these photos and videos, and sometimes student work, on our Kailua Intermediate School website, official KIS Facebook page, and in our newsletter, as well as in other school and district publications.  If you do not wish us to publish these images, please submit a signed and dated Consent For Release of Information to the school office.
